Taiwan Stock Exchange
The Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TSEC) is a financial institution, located in Taiwan, at 7 Xinyi Road Section 5, Taipei 101 3rd and 9th-12th Floors, Taipei 11049, Taiwan. The TSEC was established in 1961 and began operating as a stock exchange on 9 February 1962. It is regulated by the Financial Supervisory Commission.
Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX)
Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) was established in 1998. After 8- year strenuous efforts, the Exchange is now on the top list of fast-growing markets in the world. According to statistics from Futures Industry Association (FIA), TAIFEX¡¦s global ranking on trading volume rose to 18th in the first half of 2005 from 57th in 1998. We currently offer futures and options on major Taiwan stock indices, government bond futures, equity options and 30-day CP interest rate futures. The fruit of our actions have received the attention and recognition of the investing public, turning out impressive performance on many fronts. Our mission for the future is to provide investors with more efficient and quality services in the aspects of expanding product lines, deployment of high-performance trading system, enlarging market scale and internationalization of the market.
