Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV)
The Bolsa Mexicana de Valores or BMV is Mexico's only stock exchange. It is headquartered on the prestigious Paseo de la Reforma in central Mexico City, is the second largest Stock Exchange in Latin America, behind the São Paulo Stock Exchange - Bovespa. The total value of the Mexican Stock Exchange is estimated to be over US $600 billion.
Mexican Derivatives Exchange
MexDer is the Mexican Derivatives Exchange, that offers Futures and Options Contracts, being instruments that allow to fix today the price of purchase or sale of financial assets (US Dollar, Euros, bonds, individual stock, indices, interest rates) to be paid or delivered in a future date. This gives the possibility of planning, hedging and managing financial risks, as well as to optimize the performance of portfolios.
