STOCK EXCHANGES CZECH REPUBLIC Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) The Prague Stock Exchange or PSE (Czech: Burza cenných papír? Praha, a.s. or BCPP) is the main securities market organiser in the Czech Republic and currently (as of September 2005) the second biggest stock exchange in Central and Eastern Europe. Although the first exchange operated in Prague already in 1861, present-day PSE was established on November 24, 1992 and trading started on April 6, 1993.
Prague Energy Exchange The Prague Energy Exchange is the first market of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe. Inspiration for its establishment and pricing system derives from the energy exchanges already operating elsewhere in Europe. By its activities,the PXE intends to create a solid and standardized platform for electrical energy trading in the Czech Republic, both from the point of view of its size and liquidity.
