MUSEUMS BAHRAIN Bahrain National Museum Bahrain National Museum has housed, since 1988, a rich collection of Bahrain's ancient archaeological artifacts. The museum covers 6000 years of Bahrain's history. The purpose of the National Museum is to preserve, increase, and disseminate knowledge of the artistic, natural and cultural history of Bahrain.
Beit Al Qur'an Beit Al Qur'an means House of Qur'an in Arabic. It is an Islamic museum at Hoora, Manama, in Bahrain, which is an island country in the Persian Gulf. The House of the Qur'an was built to accommodate a comprehensive and valuable collection of the Qur'an and rare manuscripts, a concept which is unique in the Persian Gulf.
