Children's TB Hospital In Tajikistan
DESCRIPTION:The children's TB hospital in Dushanbe, founded in 1947, was the only specialized hospital for children in Tajikistan. It served children with meningitis, as well as those with TB. When its poor condition forced its closure in October 2006, children were sent home until resources could be found to restore the hospital.
