DESCRIPTION:St.Joesph Mercy Hospital Out-Patient services can be accessed between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday and 8:00 - 12:00 on Saturday. Consultation services are provided, at a reasonable cost at our Out-Patient Clinic, to children, adults and elderly. Patients and prospective patients needing medical attention can come without prior appointment and ask to see one of our resident doctors. If you wish to see a doctor associated but not attached to the hospital, you can make appointments and payment arrangements through that doctor's receptionist.
MAHAICA HOSPITAL
DESCRIPTION:The Mahaica Hospital located twenty-seven miles from Georgetown is a special area of responsibility of this Ministry. It is administered by an Assistant Hospital Administrator who reports to the Ministry. This officer is supported by a Ward Sister, a medex and other ancillary staff. The services provided are: - Free medical care for patients in and out of hospital who are affected with Hansen?s disease The care of abandoned children The provision of meals for children and patients
