DESCRIPTION:The cooperative effort between the hospital and the University has been working very well. The pathology team from the University has also made several on site visits to the laboratory in the hospital to stand in for their pathologist when they are on vacation.

Using a global network of volunteer effort and the collective skills of experts in healthcare, specific projects are undertaken to provide: - A platform for performing complex heart operations and advancing heart care and related specialties, using the local facilities. - On-going training and educational programs to empower local medical teams with these skills. - Special projects to support families with children & adults afflicted with heart disease, including orphanage programs.

GRENADA NATIONAL PATIENT KIDNEY FOUNDATION
DESCRIPTION:The GNPKF was formed in May of 2007, and completed registration in July. It is now a registered, non-governmental charitable organization. It was formed by the patients to help support themselves, and with some others helping, hopes to raise funds to supplement payments for fees for dialysis, and raise public awareness about kidney disease and other related problems.
