DESCRIPTION: In 1965, Mother Dengel visited Ethiopia in response to a request from the late Archbishop, Mgr. Asrate Mariam, to establish a hospital in Attat, Guraghe. The first two sisters arrived in 1967 and in April 1969, with the arrival of three more sisters the work began.
