DESCRIPTION:The renovation of ten rooms in the Pediatrics Department at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire - Sanou Sourou(CHU-SS) has been completed. The Burkina PAC doctors have moved from their temporary one-room pediatric HIV clinic into the 10 room BIPAI-BMS Pediatric Day Hospital at CHU-SS. The Burkina PAC doctors continue to work closely with their Burkinabé colleagues and are currently caring for over 350 HIV infected and exposed children. Plans are being developed for expanding voluntary counseling and testing services and DNA PCR testing in Bobo-Dioulasso and the surrounding communities.
