Commercial Bank Of Syria  
The Commercial Bank of Syria was established at the beginning of the year 1967 to serve the Syrian economic and commercial activities. Its capital now amounts to 4 Milliard (Billion) Syrian Pounds. The Bank has 62 Branches distributed around all the cities and regions of Syria , in addition to/ 90/exchange points of sale located in the places that attract most of the tourists and guests visiting the country. The General Administration is located in Damascus , the Capital of Syria.

Central Bank of Syria  
The Central Bank of Syria was established by Legislative Decree No. ( 87 ) dated 28/3/1953 which included the Basic Monetary System of Syria . The Bank started its operations on the first of August 1956, with its headquarters in the city of Damascus , and 11 branches located in the provincial capitals of Syria.

Bank of Syria and Overseas opened a branch in Aleppo (Medineh) in July 2007. Bank of Syria and Overseas is proud to offer the first VISA International Card in Syria .
