The great development of economic activity in the Republic of Uzbekistan and particularly in Fergana valley increasing the number of the industrial enterprises and production powers at the beginning of the 1960th increased the requires in national engineering staffs.
PLEKHANOV RUSSIAN ACADEMY OF ECONOMICS FILIAL IN TASHKENT
The Branch of G.V. Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics in Tashkent, Uzbekistan was founded in 1995. For the period of its existence the Branch has won a leading place in educational services market in Uzbekistan.

Samarkand State Medical institute was founded in 1930 as State Uzbek medical institute and it is one of the oldest medical institution in Central Asia. Foundation of the first medical institution in this city was not occasional. Samarkand is one of the ancient cities in the world. It was founded more than 2700 years ago and was the capital of that region. Samarkand is known as the capital of Timurids state. Architectural memorials built in middle ages strike with their magnificence.
TASHKENT AUTOMOBILE AND ROAD CONSTRUCTION INSTITUTE
Preparation of engineering specialists for automotive transportation and road management of Uzbekistan started since 1920s. First engineers-automobilists graduated from faculty of melioration-engineering of Turkistan State University (now National University of Uzbekistan). One of the first graduates of the institute was Abraamov Nicolay Sergeyevich, who devoted more than 50 years of his life to development of automotive transportation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and preparation of engineer-automobilists.

Tashkent Islamic University was established by presidential decree I. TASHKENT PHARMACEUTICAL INSTITUTE
The Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute was founded on July 16, 1937 according to the order of the Republic of Uzbekistan National Commissariat of Public Health Services ? 155. This event gave the basis for training specialists on pharmacy not only in Uzbekistan but in some Central Asian republics.
