Abu Dhabi University  
The dream began with the Charter of The Abu Dhabi University in the year 2000, by his Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nayhan and other distinguished citizens of the United Arab Emirates. After three years of planning, the University opened its doors in September 2003, to an entering class of 1,000 students on its two campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Unlike other colleges and universities in the UAE, The University of Abu Dhabi undertook the measures necessary to ensure that all of the degree programs it would offer had secured accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in advance of any students enrolling in them. The founders of the University envisioned an institution that would be among the best in the UAE, the Arabian Gulf region and throughout the world. This is a great challenge for a new institution of higher learning, but one that can and will be attained in the years ahead. The ADU education programs, encompassing a variety of different cultures and structures, mirror the past and present of our society and reflect the emerging future needs of the United Arab Emirates. ADU offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees based upon the American model of higher education; in addition, several professional diploma and postgraduate diploma programs, utilizing the British system of postsecondary education, are available. The official language of the University is English; however, the university offers degree and diploma programs both in English and Arabic. The ADU English Language Institute enables students to learn English such that they can study in the University degree programs regardless of their previous facility in the language.

Ajman University of Science & Technology  
Ajman University of Science & Technology Network (AUST Network) was established to be a distinguished institution of higher education in the UAE and the Arab world. It started as a university college in 1988 and soon become a university and then a university network with two campuses, Ajman & Fujairah. This significant achievement is actually the fruit of the comprehensive three-dimensional vision (Education, Information & Investment) and the educational philosophy adopted by the University Network.

Al Khawarizmi International College  
Al Khawarizmi International College was founded in 1985 with aim of providing: Quality Diploma Programs, at higher education level, in Information Technology (IT), providing competent graduate, IT technicians; currently in national shortage.Quality Short Courses in Information Technology for 'End-Users' and IT Professionals. The Al Khawarizmi Diploma in Computer Studies was the first diploma programme to be offered in the UAE in 1986. It was first offered in association with the Institute of Data Processing Management (IDPM) - London. In 1991 we started to offer the programme in association with and under full supervision from Liverpool John Moores University - UK. Liverpool JM University is a world-class British state university that is recognized worldwide. The programme is still the most successful in the UAE. Graduates from the course are now working at oil companies, financial institutions, private companies, and government departments. Al Khawarizmi International College was one of the first colleges to receive an initial approval from the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research in the UAE in June 2000. Our program is now fully accredited by the M.O.H.E. under the decree 72/2003 signed by H.E. Shaikh Nihayan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, the Minster of Higher Education & Scientific Research.

Alain University of Science and Technology  
In response to guidance from His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan AL-Nahyan, Late President of the UAE, regarding nurturing human beings in the UAE on foundations of knowledge and science, contribution to development, leadership in the reconstruction of the State and readjustment to the challenges precipitated by twenty-first century revolution of technology and mass media. And reference to Federal Decree No. (4) issued in the year 1994 regarding the Ministry Of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (1), 1992 regarding rules and regulations of licensing higher education institutions, and to the MOHE document criteria governing accreditation. And in accordance with the application submitted by Hamad Suhail Al-Khaili Establishment to the MOHE on April 17, 2004 And upon acquaintance with all items and studies conducted for the purpose of establishing this educational monument with its own vision, constructive philosophy and creative mission, and in assertion of the role of the private sector in the field of development, Hamad Suhail Al-Khaili Establishment has established Al-Ain University of Science and Technology with full commitment to the rules and regulations issued by the MOHE. The University endeavors to be a Learning Center which provides opportunities for all students and faculty members to learn. The University academic units plan to adhere to the Total Quality Assurance in accordance with international criteria. The University employs all its potential and resources to bolster students’ achievement in academic specializations needed for the job market such as Engineering, Information Technology, Health Professions, Information Systems and Administrative Sciences. American University of Sharjah

Gulf Medical College  
The Gulf Medical College Ajman was established with the Decree No. 1, dated 28 January, issued by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al-Nuaimi, the Ruler of Ajman and Member of the Supreme Council, U.A.E in the year 1998 as there was a felt need for a medical college in the United Arab Emirates. The college offers M.B.B.S and Bachelor of Physiotherapy programs. The main aim is to impart high quality medical education. This is the only medical school in the region, which offers admissions to both boys and girls of all nationalities. The Petroleum Institute  
The Petroleum Institute (PI) was created in 2001 with the goal of establishing itself as a world-class institution in engineering education and research in areas of significance to the oil and gas and the broader energy industries. The PI’s sponsors and affiliates include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and four major international oil companies. The campus has modern instructional laboratories and classroom facilities and is now in the planning phase of three major research centers on its campus in Sas Al Nakhl, Abu Dhabi. Currently the PI offers Bachelor degrees in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum and Petroleum Geosciences Engineering, as well as Master of Engineering degrees in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering. New engineering and science programs will be added in the future as needed.The engineering programs have received initial accreditation from the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and will be accredited by international institutions in due time. The PI is affiliated with the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Maryland (College Park), and is in the process of establishing working relationships with other major universities and research institutions around the world to capitalize on joint research areas of interest. Currently there are over 1000 undergraduate students (818 male and 219 female) and close to 50 graduate students recently enrolled in graduate courses at The Petroleum Institute. The Institute reached a major milestone in June 2006 with the first 44 graduates emerging from the engineering programs and going on to start their careers within the ADNOC group of companies.

United Arab Emirates University  
The United Arab Emirates University was established to accomplish a mission , based on a clear, far reaching vision of H. H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The president of the United Arab Emirates , who succeeded his father the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace), of placing UAE University in the forefront of scientific and technical seats of learning comparable to other internationally renowned universities. University of Sharjah

University of Wollongong - Dubai Campus

Zayed University  
Zayed University was established in 1998 by the federal government of the United Arab Emirates to educate U.A.E. National women.
