ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY  
The ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY is a private – non profit making University, in Khartoum Sudan, which was established in 1996 to serve the educational needs of Sudanese, African and Arab students. In a few years the Academy has expanded to include 10 faculties namely, Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Dentistry, Dental Technology, Nursing, Computer Sciences, Administrative & Financial Sciences Biomedical Engineering and Anaesthetic Sciences.

AHFAD UNIVERSITY FOR WOMEN  
The Ahfad University for Women AUW) is a private, non-sectarian university for women located in Omdurman, Sudan. Founded in 1966 by Professor Yusuf Bedri with 23 students in one department, Family Sciences, AUW now has over 5,000 students and offers a five-year Bachelor's Degree ( Bc.S. or BA) in six undergraduate schools and a Master's Degree in two areas.

ALZAIEM ALAZHARI UNIVERSITY  
The University AL Zaiem AL Azhai was established under the charter of Higher Education Revolution as a private institution but later it become a state University belonging to the Minis try of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Changing from a private to a state –owned University endowed the University of AL Zaiem AL Azhari with the Uniqueness of combining features of both the private and public systems in terms of planning , administration, admission and academic regulations followed by other Sudanese Universities.





BAYAN COLLEGE FOR SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY  
The Bayan Science and Technology University is one of private universities in Khartoum, Sudan.specialized mainly in Computer Science and Information Technology.

GEZIRA UNIVERSITY  
University of Gezira, or UofG, is located in Wad Madani, Sudan.The University's main concentration is in rural areas technical development.University of Gezira is built in 1975 at Wadmadni City and the importance of the university came in from the location which is close to one of the biggest agricultural projects in Africa which is AlGezira Project. The school's main objective is to supply the project with qualified technical staff.

KORDOFAN UNIVERSITY  
The University of Kordofan is a university in Sudan. The school is located southwest of Khartoum, in Al-Ubayyid, the capital of North Kordofan state. It was established in 1990.

OMDURMAN ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY

The primary objectives of the University, as stipulated in its Act, are to train manpower for the developmental needs of the Southern Sudan and similar regions in the country.It envisages the development of this skilled manpower to seek and to determine rational methods of exploitation of the vast natural resources of the country for development .The objective takes into account the building up of social life within the national goals of economic development ,forging national integration and promoting human and international understanding.

UNIVERSITY OF KHARTOUM  
The University has four campuses in Khartoum area. The Central Campus, which incorporates the University administration, is situated on the west bank of the Blue Nile. The Medical Sciences Campus, is at the southern extremity of Al-Qasr Avenue. The Natural Resources Sciences Campus at Shambat - a suburb of Khartoum - is situated on the east bank of the River Nile. The Education Campus is in Northern Omdurman.
