Computer Frontiers International (CFI) was incorporated June 2000 in Uganda, as a limited liability company with affiliates companies in the United States and South Africa. In August 2001, CFI merged with the Ugandan solution provider for Internet services -- Uganda OnLine.
Bushnet - Internet Service Provider
Bushnet Limited is licensed by the Uganda Communications Commission to provide data transmission and Internet services. Part of Bushnet's services is the provision of Internet and e-mail services via HF radios to remote clients. Bushnet, in co-operation with STARCOM International, has started linking corporate customers to automated mailing systems, which connect to the Bushnet hub at regular intervals through standard telephone lines.

MTN - Internet Service Provider
On October 21 1998, MTN Uganda launched commercial services in Uganda, just six months after acquiring and signing of the license. MTN has since grown to be the leading Telecommunications Company in Uganda servicing in excess of 1,600,000 customers and we are still growing. The license required that MTN provide 89,000 lines in the first five years of operation.
